Mission Statement

To provide  viewers resources based on historical patterns, methods and ingredients, in order to make an informed choice about the products they are buying for beauty and wellness. This site will treat natural and ancient practices, including aromatherapy and essential oils as part of the integrative approach to modern and conventional wisdom related to beauty and wellbeing products.

About

As women, we spend millions of dollars each year on beauty products. In the process of purchasing the latest and greatest beauty products, we are also putting things on our bodies, which we would not normally put in our bodies, without an understanding of how this affects our natural balance. We could save a bit of money on beauty products if we just stopped and looked into the refrigerator for natural beauty treatments,  and maybe even if we understood how certain ingredients affect the natural balance of our skin, health, or emotional wellbeing. We can look at the wealth of historical patterns that validate the use of many natural treatments, aromatherapy and essential oils for beauty and health.

Other added bonuses of natural beauty treatments: these products have little or no animal testing, and there is a lot less risk of damage to your skin. If you can understand the properties of many of these ingredients, you can make an informed choice on conventional and commercial products.  They may use the same ingredients derived from ancient practices that vindicate us using what we would otherwise deem as an ‘artificial’ product. What you are paying for is the technology to stabalize them, without the hassle of preserving them yourself through long arduous processes at home. This site will attempt to demystify ancient and traditional treatments such as aromatherapy and essential oils, and show their  place alongside modern and conventional treatments and practice. With an opportunity for you to be able to see the products and treatments or their derivations within reach of simple home remedies. Tips for you to try at home. Explanations where refinements of current practices have taken a history to develop.
